Cookie Monster

Well today was a LONG run of cooking for me! I believe I started at 7:00 and just finished (10:30). This is the longest I've gone in the kitchen for some time! I cooked the traditional Vincent cookies, and it feels good. Here are pictures of my good work for the work MarComm thing tomorrow. Here's hoping they're a hit!

Christmas Tree

Well Alison and I purchased this tree at a place less then a mile from our home. It's settling, then we've got to straighten it out. But, here it is.

SkiDazzle Ramifications

Well Alison asked me to go to SkiDazzle to visit a 'friend'. Now I must say that this would have creeped me out, however it was a snowboard/ski show. So my homey Shelby came up and met up with us. He and I wandered and she spent most of the time speaking with her old school buddies. Here is the first picture of me with my glasses on, damn eyes wearing out! In addition there are pictures of me with my Christmas gift(s), oh the joys of where I live!



After the show we went to this GREAT place called Pinks, and I simply know that my poppa will LOVE it there! Sad to say, we got no pictures of that spot.

Turkey Day in Palm Desert

We drove to Palm Desert to have Thanksgiving with my aunt Shirley and uncle Allen. We had a very nice and relaxing time out at their beautiful home. Here are some pictures of their scenic homestead. So my dad can see where his sister lives too. Josh lifted the turkey up but lost his grip and all the juices splashed back at him and ruined his shirt, but no big loss. We saw this elephant on the way home, I think it is made out of wood, but not too sure.
It was just really nice being with family on the holiday!

Calm Yourself

Well, today was my last day at Lucy. The clothing store that I can walk to from our place. This place saved my mental health! The women there are awesome, I certainly made friendships there and will stay in touch. I'm usually terrible at that, but since I'm new to the area, it may be a good idea to improve that part about me. It was just a fun place to work and nice clothes and it was a great emotional outlet. I'll most likely honestly miss it there.
Tomorrow, I start the professional j-o-b! I'm doing my best to remain calm and chill. I had trouble sleeping last night, but hopefully tonight will be different. Josh took me out for dinner and a movie last night and it was great! It was a really nice date! So I have to figure out what to wear, do my nails, clean a little more and finish signing papers.
Ms. Tish, Josh's mom is visiting tomorrow too, so it shall be a great day here:)
